We are delighted with the progress of our 2 newest apprentices who are working towards the end of their first year with us. Equally, our 2nd, 3rd and 4th year apprentices continue to work hard and have a positive attitude at college and on site.
Co-ordinated by Skills Development Scotland (SDS), the Scottish Apprenticeship Week campaign aims to encourage more employers to take on apprentices and to recognise the value work-based learning brings to employers across the country.
Young people can be a vital part of our workforce through being ambitious, motivated and eager to learn from our experienced tradespeople. The ongoing encouragement, development and nurturing of the young talent we employ will ensure they are kept engaged, work up to their true potential and learn important life skills.
Looking forward, the company will continue to strongly focus on the importance of recruitment, development and retention of young people and thus ensuring a continued increase of the skill level within our company and indeed the Painting and Decorating industry as a whole.
