White Stuff Edinburgh

George Nicolson were pleased to be instructed to undertake the decoration works to the shop front of White Stuff Edinburgh.

Following the joinery repairs to the external, our skilled operatives prepared and decorated the fasica, soffit, windows, doors, facings and low level panels. In addition, gold paint was applied to the 2 set of high level numbers. Upon receipt of the permit from the local authority, the high level works were completed whilst working off a mobile tower in this busy area of the City Centre.

Did you know that White Stuff was born in 1985 in the French Alps where two friends struck upon selling t-shirts and sweats to the locals? The pair opened White Stuff Clothing store in London 1991.  Some 33 years later from when they first met, there are now over 120 shops in the UK as well as 8 stand-alone shops in Germany. The brand has become known for its traditional styles, boutique stores and innovative marketing campaigns.

Each shop is also partnered with a local charity that is supported throughout the year with fundraising activities. Since 2010, White Stuff have raised £3 million for their 132 local shop charities and continue to donate 1% of their annual profits to the White Stuff Foundation.

White Stuff Edinburgh is partnered up with local charity, Dean and Cauvin Young People’s Trust – http://www.deanandcauvin.org.uk/.
