George Nicolson were pleased to be instructed by Greene King to undertake the decoration works to the external of The Mercat Bar & Kitchen, Edinburgh.
Following receipt of the required Permits from the local authority and Edinburgh Trams, works commenced with the removal and disposal of all existing signage and timber cladding to the pillars and columns. A new sign board and moulding were fitted to allow the new sign writing to be undertaken. In addition, new cowl lights and lanterns were added. Decoration works were completed to the existing fascia, doors, fanlights, facings, plinth and IVS to match the external. Eco glazed brick slips were installed to the 4 no. columns. New signage was fabricated and installed by Ashleigh Signs.
The design was created by Davidson Baxter Partnership Ltd based in Kirkcaldy.
