George Nicolson were awarded the decoration package of two large function suites in one of Edinburgh’s top hotels. Close co-ordination was required on a daily basis as we worked for and alongside Bentley Shopfitting Ltd and their team.
Due to the heights involved, the decoration works required us to work off powered access units and mobile towers. We paint sprayed ornate ceilings and cornices, revived and painted the extensive woodwork and applied bespoke wall covering. The contract duration was 20 days with a partial hand over for client functions half way through the programme. Consequently, areas had to be completed to an advanced stage very quickly.
The project was re-started post function and completed to a very high standard, within budget and on time.
